In February 2011, Athletes First, one of the premier NFL sports agencies, hosted its annual Super Bowl event in Dallas. Athletes First wanted to try a unique approach, merging pro athletes and social media for a good cause. They were seeking a skilled sports marketing agency to take a rough idea and turn it into a successfully executed concept.
Advican worked with Athletes First to put forth a groundbreaking plan and create a unique event during Super Bowl week. We presented a national Twitter campaign tied into the Athletes First Super Bowl event in order to raise money for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital. Advican created a custom page to track Tweets for the social media campaign. The custom designed Tweet page was streamed live at the event with favorable participation from guests and online fans.
